A 3-Day Practice Lab
This is not a typical workshop. For three days, we'll practice together. Building on the frameworks from our online sessions, we'll explore what it means to organize from connection rather than domination, from abundance rather than scarcity, from life rather than extraction.
What We'll Practice:
Understanding how colonization shapes our organizing patterns.
Exploring life-centered alternatives to dominant culture.
Navigating conflict without resorting to punishment or exclusion.
Building the capacity for collective accountability.
Designing organizational practices rooted in the web of life.
Creating personal commitments for ongoing transformation.
Who This Is For:
Local organizers in Portland and the surrounding region who are ready to practice new ways of being together. Activists, advocates, and movement builders who want to transform not just the world, but how we show up in our organizing.
What to Expect:
Small group work, roleplays, mapping exercises, storytelling, and lots of practice. We learn by doing. Expect to be challenged, supported, and stretched. Expect to leave with new relationships, concrete tools, and renewed commitment to liberation.

Questions?
Can I attend the retreat without the pre-workshops?
The pre-workshops establish shared frameworks essential for our practice together. If you can't attend live, we'll share recordings before the retreat.
What if I can only afford the lower end of the sliding scale?
Please pay what's sustainable for you. We're committed to accessibility and offer full scholarships when needed.
Will there be future retreats in other locations?
Yes! We're planning retreats in New York, Mexico City, Bogotá, Costa Rica, and Buenos Aires throughout 2026.
